It's been a while, but we've come across a worthy entry for the Dumb Criminal File. Before robbing an Anchorage bank last week, a robber gave a bank teller his account number and picture ID, according to the Anchorage Daily News. If the robber hadn't already made it easy enough, an FBI agent recalled that in 2004 he'd arrested the owner of the same bank account for bank robbery. FBI agents arrested the man after confirming through surveillance images that the man had, indeed, given his real name to the teller, according to the Anchorage Daily News. The Anchorage Daily News doesn't say whether the robber also gave his account number and photo ID to the teller in the 2004 robbery.
