A lot has been made lately about President Obama's hair turning gray. Some are linking the new gray at his temples to the stress of his new job. I can understand that. My own hair started going gray hair when I took on a slightly less stressful job -- fatherhood. President Obama seems to have done a better job than I have of handling the stresses of parenting. (His kids are older than mine, and he has a lot less gray hair.) I admire the easy way he interacts with his beautiful young family. It's nice to have such an energetic, youthful president, and I don't want him to feel any more hair-whitening stress than necessary, but I don't think it's such a bad thing to have a president with a little gray in his hair. So I don't think the president should fret about going gray. Unfortunately, there are more important things for him to worry about. |
