For years, I went through life thinking that people who ignored the 'Don't open until Christmas' warning might get coal in their stocking or find themselves on the check twice list. I never realized it could get you stabbed. But that's apparently what happened Friday in Rock Springs, Wyoming. That's where a woman allegedly stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife following an argument that began when she accused him of opening a Christmas present early, according to an Associated Press story. Misty Johnson, 34, was charged with aggravated assault and battery, and her husband, Shawn Fay Johnson, 34, was treated at a hospital for a wound to the chest, according to the story. It might seem painful to hold off opening those gifts until Christmas morning, but it's not as painful as it could be. CommentsLeave a comment |

Did we really need to read about this on Christmas?
