This week's Father of the Year nominee comes from Pamplona, Spain. Some guys are content to take their kids fishing or to play catch with them in the back yard. But in Spain, a father named Luis Miguel Gomez took his son running with the bulls earlier this month. Luis is the guy running near the bottom of the picture. His son is the kid next to him with the Oh-Oh, I-think-I'm-going-to-die look on his face. (Click on the picture for a closer look at the sheer joy on the kid's face) According to Pamplona city regulations, people must be at least 18 years old before they can risk being gored to death running in the San Fermin festival, where 13 people have been killed since 1924. The father-and-son outing angered city officials, who fined Gomez. Worse, it caught the attention of Gomez's ex-wife. She took him to court, and a Spanish judge on Tuesday put an end to the fun runs by denying Gomez further visitation rights. |
