It's probably too harsh to claim that Rhode Island state government is acting like Big Brother with its employees. You remember mom demanding that we eat our vegetables when all we wanted were the Twinkies and candy bars. As part of the state's efforts to get its kids to eat more fruit and vegetables, Get Fit, Rhode Island, with the state Department of Health, is hosting an event this afternoon at the State House where a chef will demonstrate cooking skills and the benefits of "healthy food choices." |
